Eustace is a growing Henderson County town on U.S. Highway 175, a short drive east of Cedar Creek Lake. It's one of 13 communities served by the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
About Eustace
U.S. Route 175 runs through the center of Eustace, putting the town 7 miles from Mabank and 11 miles from Athens, the county seat. The town square has long been a gathering place, and Eustace even served as the setting and namesake for the 2009 film Fire from Below. The Eustace Independent School District opened a new high school in 2021. Eustace grew from 991 residents in 2010 to 1,137 in 2020.
