Seven Points is a lake city on the west side of Cedar Creek Lake, named for the intersection where seven roads meet. It's one of 13 communities served by the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
About Seven Points
Seven Points grew up with Cedar Creek Lake in the 1960s and was incorporated in the 1970s. Its name comes from the junction of two state highways, a farm-to-market road and three county roads. State Highway 334 (East Cedar Creek Parkway) crosses the lake east to Gun Barrel City, and Highway 274 runs north to Kemp and south through Tool to Trinidad. Most of the city is in Henderson County, with a small part extending into Kaufman County.
