Log Cabin is a small lakeside city on the southeast side of Cedar Creek Lake. It's one of 13 communities served by the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
About Log Cabin
Log Cabin shares a peninsula with Caney City between the Clear Creek and Caney Creek arms of the lake. State Highway 198 runs along its west side, 14 miles south of Mabank and 4 miles north of Malakoff. Athens, the county seat, is 13 miles away by road. Lakefront homes and quick access to the water define the community.
